🌨️❄️ Good morning, everyone!  Before we dive into today's announcements, let’s stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance! ⛄

Today is Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and we're navigating through C Schedule like penguins on ice. 

🐧 As part of our One School/One Book event, here’s a precept to inspire your frosty day from Lao Tzu: “He who knows others is clever, but he who knows himself is enlightened.” A little self-reflection is always in season!

🚪🥶 The Boys and Girls Gymnasium Locker Rooms are locked  at ALL times. Morning access will be at 7:48 AM, with no lunchtime access. For emergency access, contact a Faculty/Staff member or your coach!

🏀 This Saturday, basketball will be bouncing from 9:00-11:00 AM for grades one through six. Just remember, dribbling in the snow might require extra skills!

🎉 There will be no school on Monday, January 19th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Use the day to reflect, relax, and maybe build a snow fort! ❄️

🌟 The Talent Show Rehearsal will be on Wednesday, January 28th, from 3:00-4:30 PM in the auditorium. The Talent Show itself will dazzle on Thursday, January 29th, at 6:00 PM, with a $5 admission fee at the door!

🏀 Practice sessions today: 

• Boys JV and Varsity Basketball from 3:30-5:15 PM in Andover.
•  Cheer practice will be from 5:30-7:00 PM in Whitesville, with the bus leaving at 5:00 PM. 

🏀🎟️ The Girls JV and Varsity Basketball teams will play at 6:00 and 7:30 PM tonight in Andover against Genesee-Valley/Belfast. 

Over in Whitesville, the Girls Modified Basketball game is at 6:00 PM against Hinsdale, followed by the Boys Modified Basketball game at 7:15 PM. The bus leaves at 5:00 PM — don’t forget your snow boots!
